Art grew up in Rancho Santa Margarita has lived in this area for more than 30 years. Art's done almost everything, from Managing in Logistics Shipping/Receiving at Best Buy DDC to Managing Operations/ Project Managing and Business Development. For his mom's Start-up Interior Design Company located here in RSM. Shortly after leaving the family business, Art took a break to hang out with his wife and 3 boys for a year. Wanting to open his own dealership in the future was always a dream of Art, having a love interest with cars as young kid and the passion to always wanting to help people, he decided after his dad Art Senior kept bugging him to come and work with him at SM Ford he decided to take him up on it. What better place to learn the ins and outs of a dealership than working at one. After Interviewing for a Sales position at Ford they hired him at their sister store SM Toyota. "Learning as much as possible as fast as possible was always the way I moved up. I love to learn and find ways to fix/enhance processes and speed things up". Learning a lot about the business of car sales He had to call it quits, after his wife was about to have their 4th baby (Girl) and with COVID starting and kids being taken out of school, he left the car business to stay home and take care of the kids while his wife worked from home. 

Why Turo?

Having car payments and having cars just sitting out front seemed like such a waste of money, so he tried looking for a way to make some side money to help pay for those car payments, during this time Art found an app called Turo Carsharing where you can place your personal cars on their platform and anybody can rent it out for a day a week whatever. After about a week or so of no one booking he got his first one, it was a 2-week booking for his Infiniti Q50, " Holy crap, it paid for my car payment for 3 months just on one booking of 2 weeks" wanting to scale he decided to research Turo and see what cars were renting out all the time. At the same time figuring what cars he would love to own and a way of owning his dream cars and having a fleet of them one day seemed like a pretty good deal. So he went for his first love 2016 Mustang GT Premium fully loaded, he then added a Ford Performance Exhaust and started getting ridiculous amounts of bookings with all 5 stars and in less 3 months earned  All-Star Host Status. 

So here he is today building his fleet of dream cars and giving people an amazing experience with American Muscle cars during these weird times of COVID.
